Introduction

Survival Budget stores all budget data locally on your device. There are no accounts, no cloud sync, and no analytics or advertising SDKs in the app. This policy explains how that works.

The Short Version

  • The app does not send your budget data anywhere
  • We have no servers to store your data
  • We don't use analytics or tracking tools
  • We can't see your data even if we wanted to

Information We Collect

None. Survival Budget does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information, budget data, or usage analytics.

All data you enter in the app (income, expenses, savings goals, budget snapshots) is stored in device-local app storage on your iPhone. The app does not transmit this data to any server. If you use Export Your Data, you choose where to save or share the exported copy.

How We Use Your Information

The app runs locally on your iPhone. All calculations are performed on your device. We have no access to your data.

Data Storage

Your budget data is stored in device-local app storage. This means:

  • • Data persists between app sessions
  • • Data stays on your device only
  • • Using Reset App & Start Over or uninstalling the app deletes the data stored by the app
  • • You are responsible for backing up your data if needed

Third-Party Services

The Survival Budget app does not integrate with any third-party services, analytics platforms, or advertising networks. There are no:

  • • Google Analytics or similar tracking tools
  • • Advertising networks
  • • Social media integrations
  • • Cloud backup services
  • • Error tracking or crash reporting tools

This website (survivalbudget.com) uses Plausible Analytics, a cookieless analytics service that collects no personal data.

Your Rights

Since we don't collect your data, you maintain complete control:

• Right to Access: Your data is always accessible to you in the app
• Right to Delete: Use Reset App & Start Over in Settings to delete all app data
• Right to Export: Use Export Your Data in Settings to create a JSON or CSV copy
• Right to Portability: Exported copies use standard JSON or CSV formats

Children's Privacy

Survival Budget does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. The app is designed for personal budgeting and may be used by anyone capable of managing their own finances.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Since we don't collect your contact information, we cannot notify you directly of changes. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.

Important Disclaimer
